The University of Missouri (often known as Mizzou, MU, or Missouri) is a public land-grant research university located in Columbia, Missouri. It is Missouri’s largest university and the flagship of the University of Missouri System, which consists of four campuses. It was the first public university west of the Mississippi River, founded in 1839. It is a member of the Association of American Universities.

- Admission Requirements: For taking admission, applicants must have a 1260 SAT or 27 ACT
- Language Requirement: In order to meet Mizzou’s English language requirements, international students must earn a minimum IELTS score of 6.5
